Creating new ways to connect flutists

The theme

Last year, we successfully held “International Babel Flute Days” and we would like to continue its unique theme.

Since the origins of The Babel Flute come from the ancient Babylonian Empire, we will hold flute events around the ancient city of Babylon and visit its important places: the Tower, the Castle, the Bridge, the Temple and the Hanging Gardens.

How the schedule works

The events will open gradually – day by day (dripped content) and we will remind the schedule for each day to all registered guests. Events remain open for a full month after the end of the Convention.

Only registered guests will be able to attend events during and up to a month after the Convention.

Social interaction

In addition to the events of the Convention, we will also offer social communication (much like Facebook), a follow option, bulletin boards, polls, daily news, a library, selected resources, and more. 

Certificates and signing a guest book

At the end all presenters and sponsors will sign our special Guest book and receive individual certificates of participation.

Project

The Babel Flute is a multilingual project where flutists from all over the world share their unique research and articles with the global flute community. It aims to connect flute players from all over the world.

The Babel Flute can be instantly translated to any language and offers a magazine, forum for flute teachers, classifieds, job board, online store, calendar of historical flutists, flute quizzes and games.

We welcome everyone! You can join our project, community and convention as a contributor or a visitor.

In 2 years, 70 contributors from 27 countries have joined the project, over 300,000 people from 236 countries have visited the platform, which now receives over 180,000 Google web searches every month, not counting other sources!

Flutists from all over the world mentioned the inability to access good teachers and/or pay high fees to existing flute associations and conventions.
